Warranty Policy

1. Scope of Warranty

Sulite Lighting provides warranties for its products as part of our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues only. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, accidents, natural disasters, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or normal wear and tear.

2. Warranty Period

Standard products: 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Selected products: 5-year limited warranty (as explicitly indicated on the product or sales documentation). The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as indicated on the official receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Products Covered

All lighting fixtures, lamps, and associated components sold by Sulite Lighting under retail or wholesale arrangements, unless otherwise specified. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

4. What the Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, Sulite Lighting guarantees repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion) for products that exhibit the following issues due to manufacturing defects:

  • Electrical or wiring failures caused by defective manufacturing.
  • Defects in material or finish that affect the functionality or safety of the product.
  • Malfunctioning components (LED modules, switches, drivers, or other integral parts) caused by manufacturing errors.

5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from improper installation, maintenance, or use.
  • Products modified, repaired, or tampered with by third parties not authorized by Sulite Lighting.
  • Normal wear and tear, discoloration, corrosion, or cosmetic imperfections.
  • Damage due to accidents, fire, flood, typhoon, earthquake, or other natural calamities.
  • Losses caused by electrical surges or unstable power supply.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure

To claim the warranty, the customer must:

  1. Present the original proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or sales agreement).
  2. Provide a detailed description of the defect or issue with the product.
  3. Submit the product to Sulite Lighting’s office at Unit 505 Kawayan Bldg., Parqal, Aseana City for inspection.

Sulite Lighting reserves the right to inspect the product and verify the claim before approving any repair, replacement, or refund.

7. Repair, Replacement, or Refund

Repair: Defective products may be repaired at no cost to the customer within a reasonable time.

Replacement: If repair is not feasible, Sulite Lighting may replace the defective product with an identical or equivalent product.

Refund: If neither repair nor replacement is possible, Sulite Lighting may issue a full or partial refund, based on the product’s original purchase price. All repair, replacement, or refund actions are carried out at Sulite Lighting’s discretion and may be subject to product availability.

8. Shipping and Handling

Customers are responsible for delivering the product to Sulite Lighting for warranty inspection. Sulite Lighting will bear the cost of returning repaired or replaced products to the customer within Metro Manila. Shipping charges for locations outside Metro Manila may be covered by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

9. Limitation of Liability

Sulite Lighting’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, inconvenience, or installation costs.

10. Governing Law

This warranty policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from warranty claims shall be resolved amicably between the parties, or, if necessary, under the jurisdiction of Philippine courts with venue in Metro Manila.
